About Diane

Diane Rivera is the Florida Regional Manager for Starker Services, Inc., one of the Nation’s oldest and most experienced independent Qualified Intermediary firms, established in 1987. She is a Certified Exchange Specialist® and is well-regarded as an expert in her field.

Since 1995, Diane has provided 1031 exchange consultations and strategies to Investors, Realtors®, accountants, financial planners and attorneys saving her customers hundreds of thousands in capital gains taxes. Her understanding of the IRS 1031 guidelines and accurate documentation of §1031 exchanges from Delayed and Improvement exchanges, to the most complex Reverse and Reverse Improvement Exchanges is an asset to her customers.

She has assisted in the successful completion of thousands of IRC §1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges. She is an experienced provider of presentations, seminars and Continuing Education for real estate, accounting, and legal professionals.

What is a Certified Exchange Specialist?

Exchange professionals earning the CES® designation through the Federation of Exchange Accommodators have passed rigorous testing, dealt with complex 1031 exchanges for at least 3 years and maintain yearly education requirements.  Diane has worked in the Qualified Intermediary industry since 1995 and has held her CES designation since 2005. There are less than 150 designees in the United States.
